The immorality of politics, diplomacy, or at least amorality is the thought and traditions of diplomatic peninsula. We have always been the wait, opportunistic? Foreign policy can be, indeed must be written and enforced furbizia, but perhaps we forget there are too victims of our weaknesses. Libya became an Italian colony after the conflict against Turkey in 1912: then Italy was led by liberal and intelligent statesman, Giovanni Giolitti. It was easy prey for our troops, but it was also difficult to contain the targeting of the nomadic peoples there were fierce repression and by fascism the colony was "riappacificata." Many Italians had already transferred or moved in that period: the settlers and became devoted to agriculture in particular, in the few areas of arable coast. There was the defeat of the Second World War and these were Italians, at least in part, between various vicissitudes, as "guests" in a foreign land. In 1970 there was the coup was a young colonel in the Libyan named Muhammar Gaddafi. Among his initiatives was that there dell'esproprio property of Italians: it estimated a value of 400 billion lire at the time, which is a huge sum if revalued in Euros. Twenty Italians were expelled and never repaired houses, fields reclaimed, goods produced by their years of work and sacrifices. Now you feast for the treaty, but they suffered a great injustice. Italy the early seventies was impregnated with ideology: the refugees were seen as thieves of land, as the nostalgic colonialist and fascist regime. They were abandoned to their fate and not received compensation, but only crumbs: they were also victims of the Italian colonial period.
